How a Phoenix plastic surgeon went from 1 lead a month to 8 to 10 new surgical patients a month after rebuilding his website and ad strategy.
A board-certified plastic surgeon in Phoenix was running Google Ads to a generic website that didn't show what made his work different. In July 2025 the account spent $1,497 and produced one lead. We rebuilt his website around the procedures he performs most, gave each one its own page with a proper before-and-after gallery, and rebuilt the campaigns to match. Leads became steady within a month. Once the new system proved itself, the practice doubled its budget, and by July 2026 the same account was producing about 40 qualified leads a month at $75 each, and Google Ads alone was putting 8 to 10 new surgical patients on his schedule every month.

The Problem
A skilled surgeon paying for clicks that went nowhere.
The surgeon's results were strong. His website didn't show it. The site read like a generic practice brochure: a list of services, a short bio, and nothing that helped a Phoenix patient comparing surgeons understand why she should trust this one with her surgery.
The advertising strategy had the same problem. Campaigns were broad and generic, and every click landed on pages that weren't built to answer the questions a surgical patient actually asks. Is this surgeon qualified? What do his results look like for the procedure I want?
The numbers made the problem impossible to ignore. Across the first four months of the account, the practice spent $4,097 and received 19 inquiries, a cost of $216 per inquiry. In July 2025 it spent $1,497 and received exactly one.
From the Field
“His before-and-afters were the best sales tool the practice had, and nobody could find them. A patient researching a mommy makeover is looking for one thing first: proof this surgeon has done it well, many times, for women like her. When the website doesn't lead with that proof, no amount of ad optimization fixes it.”

Audit Findings
Why the account couldn't produce leads.
The budget wasn't the problem. Everything the budget pointed at was.
A generic website that didn't tell his story
The site described a practice, not a surgeon. There was no clear specialty, no sense of his experience, and nothing written for the patient deciding whether to choose them for the surgery.
Results buried instead of showcased
Before-and-after photos are the deciding factor for most plastic surgery patients. His were hard to find and weren't organized by procedure, so a patient couldn't quickly see results for the surgery they wanted.
One generic strategy for every procedure
Mommy makeover, tummy tuck, and breast searches all got the same message. Different procedures have different patients with different questions, and the account treated them as one and the same.
Nothing that set him apart in a crowded market
Phoenix and Scottsdale have one of the highest concentrations of plastic surgeons in the country. A patient comparing several practices in one evening had no reason to choose this one, because the pages never made the case. Nothing about his experience or his results was on the pages ads were sending traffic to.
The Rebuild
Website first, then a paid strategy built on top of it.
We rebuilt the foundation before spending another dollar trying to scale.
A new website built around the surgeon
A full redesign that leads with who he is, what he specializes in, and why Phoenix patients choose him. Credentials, process, and patient support are all on the page instead of implied.
A dedicated page for every core procedure
Mommy makeover, tummy tuck, liposuction, body contouring, BBL, breast augmentation, and breast lift each got their own page, written for the patient researching that specific surgery.
Before-and-after galleries that sell the results
We rebuilt the gallery so patients can see his results procedure by procedure. The proof a patient is looking for is now one click from every ad.
Procedure-led Google Ads built for the Phoenix market
Campaigns were rebuilt around the searches Phoenix patients actually use, like "mommy makeover" and "tummy tuck", tightened to the metro so budget stopped going to clicks he could never serve, with ad copy that speaks to a local patient: board certification, a seasoned team, and support from consultation through recovery.

Website & Landing Pages
From a brochure to a surgeon a patient can trust.
A patient considering surgery is making one of the biggest decisions of her life, and in a market like Phoenix she is comparing several surgeons before she ever calls. The website has to do the work a consultation room does: show the surgeon's experience, show his results, and make the next step feel easy and safe.
The rebuilt site does that for each procedure. A patient searching for a tummy tuck lands on a tummy tuck page, sees tummy tuck results, and can request a consultation without hunting for a contact form.

- • No clear specialty or surgeon story
- • Before-and-after photos hard to find
- • Same destination for every procedure
- • Nothing that set him apart from other Phoenix surgeons

After
A surgeon-led site with a page per procedure
- • Website built around the surgeon's expertise
- • Seven procedure pages, each with matching results
- • Before-and-after galleries organized by procedure
- • Consultation request one click away on every page

Results · Google Ads
From one lead a month to 8 to 10 new surgical patients a month.
A qualified lead here is an inquiry the practice screened as a real consultation candidate: the right procedure, a realistic timeline, and able to come in. Raw inquiries ran higher (151 in July 2026), but qualified leads are the number the practice plans its schedule around, and they are what the $75 figure measures.

Why This Matters
“The budget didn't create this turnaround. It spent $1,500 a month before and after the rebuild. What changed was what the ads pointed at. Once the website told his story and showed his results, every dollar started working. Today Google Ads alone puts 8 to 10 new surgical patients on his schedule every month, and the practice can scale with confidence instead of hoping.”

What Carries Over
Lessons for any surgeon whose ads aren't producing.
Fix the destination before you touch the budget
Inquiries went from 1 to 32 a month without adding a dollar. When ads aren't converting, the answer is rarely more spend. It's usually the page the patient lands on.
Your results are your best ad
Plastic surgery patients buy with their eyes. A before-and-after gallery organized by procedure does more selling than any headline we could write.
One page per procedure, one message per patient
A mommy makeover patient and a breast augmentation patient have different questions. Giving each their own page lets the ads, the page, and the proof all speak to one person.
Earn the right to scale
We held the budget flat for seven months while the new system proved itself. When the practice doubled spend, qualified leads scaled with it, because the foundation could absorb it.
If your ads are spending but not producing
We'll show you what your patients see when they click.
If your practice is paying for clicks that don't turn into consultations, the problem is usually the website and landing pages, not the bids. Book a strategy call and we'll audit your site and campaigns together and tell you exactly what we'd rebuild first.

How an Austin plastic surgeon became a breast and body specialist and turned it into 7 to 8 new surgical patients a month.
An Austin plastic surgeon came to us after working with an agency that "specialized in healthcare" but had given him the same generic website it could have given any doctor. His real strength, breast and body surgery, was nowhere in his story. We rebuilt his website and his Google Ads around that specialty. In the first 12 months the new system produced about 315 qualified leads at $75 each on roughly $2,000 a month in ad spend, and Google Ads alone now brings in 7 to 8 new surgical patients a month.
How a Salt Lake City plastic surgeon went from 1 or 2 surgeries a month to 7 or 8 on the same ad budget by focusing on the surgery he loves.
This Salt Lake City surgeon was marketing himself as someone who does everything: faces, noses, ears, eyelids, breasts, bodies. What he actually wanted was a practice built around body contouring. We rebuilt his website, landing pages, story, and search presence around that focus. On the same monthly budget of about $5,000, the account went from 15 to 25 leads and 1 or 2 surgeries a month to 75 leads in January 2026 at about $60 each, and 7 to 8 surgeries a month. More leads, and far better ones.
How a plastic surgeon produced 510% more leads in 90 days while still under contract with another agency.
The practice's existing agency was underperforming but the surgeon couldn't get account access to audit or fix it. We built a parallel landing page and new ad campaigns that ran alongside the existing system without touching it. The new system produced 510% more leads within two weeks, giving the practice clear performance data and an obvious path forward.
